Licensing
Yes, our program is licensed by the Office of Children and Family Services as a daycare. Our program operates as a preschool but in order to run a full day program we must carry a "daycare license"
Our half day friends begin their day at 9 AM and end their day at 11:45 AM. For full day children the program runs 9AM to 3PM if before/after care is not needed.
Before care begins at 7AM and aftercare ends at 4PM. Parents are billed for the hours they use at $7 per hour for one child and $9 per family per hour with more than one child using the service
Our program is open from 7AM to 4PM Monday to Friday following the Westhampton Beach School calendar.
*Bright Starters- must be two by December 1st of the current school year
Preschool- must be three by December 1st of the current school year
Pre-K - must be four by December 1st of the current school year
* each child develops differently and if there is a question as to which program a child belongs in a screening will be performed to assess the child.
Our Bright Starters full day children will nap after lunch. They will need a crib sheet, blanket and a pillow. At the end of their week we will send their bedding home to be washed.
Our Preschool and Pre-K children do not nap. They do have a rest time.
Our program is unique in that we allow parents to pick the schedule that suits their lives (space permitting.) We allow schedules to be a mix of half and full days as well as the typical full/half day program.
We charge a non-refundable $95.00 registration fee that is separate from the month tuition. Tuition is an annual fee. Tuition is due the first day of the month your child attend school with a late fee of $30.00 applied if payment is not received by the 5th of the month. No credit is given for absences, holidays or vacations.
All children will need a current physical and a copy of immunizations. Our school does not accept waivers for immunizations. All children must be completely immunized according to the Department of Health schedule.
We open enrollment for the following school year to our in house families in October. Beginning November 1st we begin to accept applications. If you would like to have your child's name added to the waitlist they will be offered a spot as soon as all in house families register or November 1st which ever comes first
First payment is due by September 1st of the new school year. . There will be nine more payments after that the last one being June 1st. Should a child be withdrawn prior to June the first month's payment is forfeited.
