We hope you all had a great holiday season. As we settle into the New Year there will be a few changes in Pre-K. Beginning January 13th we will be introducing “sight words” at circle time. We have found in the past that many of the children are ready to work with them. The children will be creating sight word books and using the words during center time. The teachers will be sending home the words with each week’s homework. As is our policy homework is not mandatory so if you would like to work with your child reviewing sight words during homework time that would be great. The children will begin to pick the words out of books and such and they so enjoy showing off what they have learned.
